CNN In The Wrong - Take John Cena Out Of Context And Use His Own Words Against Him

When CNN did a piece with John Cena, they damaged John Cena's real life character using his own words against him.
During the interview, Cena preached about how he never used steroids and how drugs are illegal but people are willing to take the short cut to get ahead. He said that like any other drug, if you are caught taking a performance enhancer that you should be arrested as you would with any other illegal drug.

Cena did great up until that point when he made a comment saying "I can't tell you that I haven't but you'll never be able to prove that I have."

What Cena was saying which CNN did not show was that Cena talked about how athletes with strength such as himself will always have the finger pointed at them saying they took steroids.

He talked about how he has been tested since he was a 17 years old and it always shows that he is not taking any performance enhancers but that there will always be skeptics as there are drugs that can be taken to avoid showing up positive for steroids.

Obviously, this was approximately a 45 minute interview so you can't show every second and these interviews are cut for the purpose of maybe a 30 second or a minute segment for a show, however CNN made it sound like he is covering up something from the past by taking something out of context which is not only wrong but unethical as well.

CNN stood by their decision although for anyone who has seen the full unedited interview knows that the way CNN used that quote was absolutely ridiculous and made a mockery out of everyone in the media field and used a bad choice of wording by Cena to make it seem like he was at least at some time in the past on performance enhancing drugs.

There is a reason why many people don't trust media outlets and this interview is a perfect example as of to why.

Anyone who didn't hear the whole interview - I urge you to go onto youtube.com - just type in John Cena interview with CNN and you will find it very fast. Do yourself a favor and learn the absolute truth as of to what he said.
