Rated R Return: Takes Out Taker...AGAIN

For just one moment the audience thought that maybe The Rated R Superstar wasn't going to make it back for Survivor Series - although it was a bit suspicious that he was the poster child for the PPV and wasn't mentioned for weeks - as if they were trying to make us forget about his return.

However, when it comes to real life injuries, such as that of Edge, you weren't sure if he was not being mentioned because he wasn't ready to return and the rumors of his return were premature or if it was a ploy by the WWEto get him out all of our minds.

In fact it was a play as we witnessed during the PPV. Taker lifted Batista on his shoulder and nailed a tombstone piledriver and thought we were going to witness the re-crowning of The Undertaker as World Heavyweight Champion. Batista however did something that hasn't been seen done in years when it comes to the tombstone - he kicked out.

Undertaker launched Batista back on his shoulers and delivered another tombstone - this one on the steel steps that Batista had actually brought into the ring. Now for sure a new champs was going to be crowned - until Edge finally made his reurn.

Edge dressed as a camera man pulled the ref out of the ring, nailed Undertaker in the face with the camera and finished him off with a one man conchairto on the steps. Edge rolled Batista over Taker and Batista remained champ. While it wasn't a huge surprise that Edge made his return, the WWE creative team put as much doubt into the fans minds as possible and started what looks like a great rivalry.

Now that Edge screwed Taker at Survivor Series, the question is; How will Edge survive until the next PPV?
