JBL Is Back?

It seems as if retired superstar and self proclaimed "wrestling god" is itching to get back in the ring.

JBL started to get more physical around the Cyber Sunday PPV where he was up to be a guest referee.

He got in the ring and took chokeslams and spears from Undertaker and Batista, reunited with Ron Simmons as the APA a couple RAW's ago to help out Hornswoggle, and now has gotten involved in a storyline with Y2J.

Now, it didn't seem likely that after a two year absence that Jericho would walk in after a month and nab the title from Randy Orton, but at the same time, he couldn't lose because it would take him out of the title picture all together, unless Orton cheated to win.

Their solution however was much better. After Y2J inadvertintly got thrown into the Smackdown announce table and landing on JBL, then pushing JBL aside to get back to fighting Orton, JBL took offense to Y2J ad just when Jericho had the Walls of Jericho locked in and Ortona bout to tap and crown a new WWE Champion, JBL kicked Jericho in the face causing in disqualifaction.

Chris Jericho camoe out and wanted to face JBL and meet with JBL one on one at RAW but Bradshaw did not show. So, Jericho said he would go to Smackdown, and then Bradshaw was shown on the monitor and as the story line goes, if Jericho were to go to Smackdown this week, he would be taken out of the Royal Rumble and would never get a WWE title shot again.

JBL did say however after Y2J basically questioned Bradshaw's manhood that he would appear on the next RAW which will take place on December 31, as this week they will be airing the Tribute to the Troops pre-taped show on Christmas Eve.

Now, if you read the spoilers to the show, it was basically Armageddon all over again as Orton was just about to be beaten by Jericho and JBL comes in and nails Jericho with his patented clothsline.

So, that is now two weeks in a row, plus a PPV that JBL has been involved in the storyline with Jericho. Whether JBL is looking for a full-time return or a one night return, it does appear a return of some sort is in the cards for JBL.

The past few Wrestlemania's there has been interpromotional matches, and this could be a storyline that they keep going until a confrontation will happen at Mania, or maybe, although I doubt it, they will do it early and either have them face off at the Royal Rumble or No Way Out before Wrestlemania.

No matter what, it seems like Bradshaw has wanted a return and this is a great way to do it - on the grandest stage of them all, against one of the most storied superstars in history, not to mention, it saved Orton his title or from havig to get himself DQ'd.

Seems like it isn't a question of if, but when Y2J and JBL lock horns and that obviously means the question isn't if JBL will return to the squared circle, but for how long.

One way or another, this seems like a fun feud to watch unfold over the next weeks and or months until we see the in ring retrn of Bradshaw as he will once again lace up his wrestling boots and leave his suit and tie behind as he will at least temporarily leave the broadcast booth behind.
