Wrestlezone.com posted that The Big Show has re-signed with the WWE and said he was backstage on RAW this past Monday night.
He is rumored to be feuding with Triple H when he returns and their was a rumor he could have returned to RAW as soon as this past Monday. That was not the case but that means that any week now we can see the seven foot five-hundred pound monster strut through the curtain and make a bee line towards the ring to take out Triple H.
With Bobby Lashley due to come off injury, it could have made for a great story line as Lashley, when he won the title off of Big Show at ECW's December To Dismember and then again the next Tuesday night on ECW.
Big Show retired after that loss but Lashley took the mic the next week and addressed Big Show, saying he was welcome to challenge him any time for the ECW title as he was his toughest competitor yet.
Well, unfortunately, the latest news on Lashley is that he is negotiating with the WWE to get out of his contract, as he asked for his release. Wrestlezone.com has reported that Lashley is going to take a page from Brock Lesnar and fight as a Mixed Martial Artist (MMA).
So, in a bit of irony, it was Big Show that left when Lashley was on the rise and now with the return of Big Show, Lashley is on his way out.
Either way, unless somehow Lashley changes his mind and decides to stay with the WWE or he and the WWE can come to some sort of agreement, that feud does not seem to be one that is going to be rekindled.
Depending on whether Big Show comes back as a heel or a face, he can feud for the title or with Triple H or HBK, really there are a million possible scenarios on how he could possibly be used. Who knows, he may even be a surprise Royal Rumble entrant.
No matter under what circumstances, it seems to just be a matter of time before we once again see the biggest athlete in wrestling.
