Just One Night After Survivor Series The Armageddon PPV Already Looks Good

One day after Survivor Series three matches already seem imminent.According to wrestlezone.com the “Savior,” Y2J will face off against Randy Orton for the WWE Championship – not a shocker by any means but it should be exciting to see Jericho back in the ring in a main even situation. The last time he was in the title picture Eric Bischoff fired him because despite numerous attempts, he was unable to beat and take away the title from then reigning champion John Cena.

They also reported that the World Heavyweight Championship will be contested in a three way between the champ Batista, the screwed Undertaker, and the returning Edge. Considering the bad blood between all three of these men, this match was not a big surprise either but to see several rivalries come to a head in one match should make for a classic.

Don’t forget, while Taker and Batista are really the ones having the feud right now, it was Edge who took the title from Taker when he cashed in his Money in the Bank opportunity after Batista had been in a cage match with him and then Mark Henry, who at the time was getting a push came out and demolished the Undertaker before Edge came out to pick the bones, nailing the spear and becoming the new Heavyweight Champion.

Edge and Batista also had a feud. In their last match Batista had to win or would not get another chance for the championship. After hitting the Batista Bomb on the outside of the ring and rolling Edge’s lifeless Body into the ring, Batista did not make it back into the ring before the 10 count and could not get another title shot while Edge was champion.

Lastly they reported that Jeff Hardy will face off against Snitsky. As we all saw on RAW, Umaga and Snitsky attacked Jeff Hardy before being saved by Triple H who cleared the ring. Also, next week the “King of Kings,” Triple H and the high flying Jeff Hardy will take on Snitsky and Umaga.

Wrestlezone.com said that Triple H will probably be in a tag team match against Umaga.

It doesn’t take a brain surgeon either to see that it is likely that “The Show Stopper” Shawn Michaels will face off against the loud and brash Kennedy.Kennedy this past Monday interrupted HBK’s promo and wound up in a brawl with him. Kennedy picked up a chair and as he went to enter the ring, and just like RVD used to use the Van Daminator, HBK Sweet Chin Musiced the chair into Kennedy’s face, knocking Kennedy off the ring apron and igniting a feud.

With Kane and Big Daddy V going at it for weeks now including a handicap match tonight on ECW, where Kane will take on Big Daddy V and Matt Striker in a handicap match, the WWE creative team seems to be building up this feud as much as possible so they can let these two behemoths face off one on one – surely at Armageddon.
